From Namibia in 2014

Today I finally got around to putting decorations on the small Christmas trees. It’s always nice to find decorations bought on holidays abroad and remember those times. These are two little ornaments I bought in Namibia when we were there in 2014 on an amazing holiday. They are very delicately carved makalani nuts which look like very small coconuts and are from a type of palm tree.

This morning I first went to the chiropodist and then when the rain stopped took Libby for a walk. So much rain again that the river was running fast and no rowers or canoeist on it this morning.

We are having a quiet day at home.
All Christmas cards are written and sent off…now I need to try and sort out some photo calendars which I do each year for my husband and both children.
