Survivor

The weather has changed back from Winter to Autumn; windy and pouring with rain. 
I went for a walk before lunchtime, during a dry spell. This hardy rose isn’t ours, it belongs to a garden in a nearby street. I find it amazing that it still has flowers after the heavy snow and freezing nights of the last weeks.

Chores are done for today. P has cooked a huge pot of soup for dinner. Time to play with cats and watch some winter sports.
