Sparrowhawk...
... I was fairly confident, then had Doubts and wondered kestrel? But I think it's a sparrowhawk.
As ever there's the exciting, 'oooh! What's that in the garden?'
Shortly followed by, 'oh no. What's it caught?'
Nature eh?
Red in tooth and claw. (Fortunately I was a very long way away and the light was poor).
It's wet and windy here today. The poor Christmas Market has suffered a bit. We went to support it and bought a lovely piece of wood/cheeseboard. Did I need one? Nope. Shall I worry about knives hurting it, if I serve cheese on it? Yep. (I'm a lost cause, but I shall try to use it because it's been so lovingly made it deserves to be shown off).
Our coats are dripping in the hall.
The brew is made.
I have no excuse to procrastinate further.
It's time to write some cards :-/
