An afternoon with Kay

This afternoon we had a plan................... the plan was............ meet our friend, Kay, in 'Princes Street Gardens' for a walk for an hour. So we walked down to Princes Street, in horrendous rain. And then instead of a walk we went into the 'Rose Street Cafe' for a coffee. Ann had a coffee. Kay had a toastie & chips. Fortunately I was allowed in. Yay!!

It's almost 7pm and it's still 'stotting' down.

We've had a bit of a traumatic day................

Ann was supposed to be going to a carol concert at the local church this morning, but the friend she was going with, cancelled because her friend died last night.  Sooo soo sad!

Our car is in the garage getting a service, but apparently loads of warning lights have come on, so car is in the garage, still poorly.

Loads of other 'traumas' going on in our life right now that we can't comment on.

Tomorrow is another day?!
