Christmas market

It's been a bright sunny but windy day.  Our son had booked us into a lunchtime meal at a restaurant opposite Exeter Cathedral.  I had suggested travelling in by train but it was decided to go key car.  We did set off early but not surprisingly there was a steady stream of vehicles making their way into the centre.  We joined queues in three carparks without getting in and were on the point of turning back home when I spotted a nearby parking space.  We were very lucky as this particular spot was for 2 hours parking whereas all the spots to the other side of the sign were permit parking only.  We raced through into Exeter and through the Christmas market and were only 10 minutes late.

We had a very enjoyable meal and then walked more slowly back through the market again.  A lovely day and so nice to have the sun shining most of the day.
