A mass of flowers

We've had this Easter cactus for a number of years now and each year it produces a mass of flowers. Possibly because of the cooler weather lasted longer, the flower buds appeared a little later this time than they have in previous years and they've only started to open up more since the temperature has started to rise these last few weeks.

Still feeling quite down today. I may as well tell you that the disappointing news I had yesterday was the negative response to an application for a job that I really wanted and would have loved to do. I really thought that the interview had gone well but unfortunately they eventually decided that I lacked the experience to do the job which other applicants apparently did have.
