Day 4 - Around Bogota

This morning we traveled to Zipiquira, a small town on the outskirts of Bogota where in 1951 miners built a massive structure carved into the salt - a cathedral.  We then had lunch in the village of Cajica.  We returned to Bogota and spent the rest of the afternoon in a local neighborhood. Rather than go to other parts of the city or outside, residents enjoy a huge craft market with musicians, dancers and kids playing soccer on the square.
