Comiston House Doocot

Another grey day, out for a daunder around the park before the second afternoon of wet weather arrives. I manage to get a few photos despite the low light. The Comiston House Doocot was the best photo. After coffee, there is a bit of online Christmas present shopping. Then some photo editing before lunch.

After lunch, the rain has arrived. As I am working, I must use this time for Christmas present shopping in Morningside. In past years this has been quite successful. Despite the weather, I manage to remain quite dry as I spend most of the time in shops, and a short while walking between them. Unfortunately inspiration falls short, and I only manage to get a few presents. One reason is that most charity shops have, since Covid shutdowns, concentrated on selling high quality clothing, and less on items that might be useful presents.

In the evening, we go out for meal to celebrate the twins' birthday, and also to celebrate them getting more jobs with better career prospects. A nice way to end the weekend.
