2023 Saturday — Cayucos Christmas

This evening was the “Big” Christmas happening in Cayucos. It was lots of fun. Very festive.

We were given samples of wine at Woody & Deb’s “Toast the Coast” wine tour company (our former neighbors), tastes of chili at several stores, we made s’mores in front of the barber shop, were given cookies at one of the antique stores, Kaiser Realty had a big craft tent with lots of activities for kids, we saw Gail, our favorite realtor, I peeked in to say “Hello” to Santa & Mrs Claus; the Brown Butter Cookie Company gave out a whole cookie, not just a little sample and the aroma in their shop was so lovely.

A brass band played near the Kaiser Realty office; a solo female musician played & sang in front of the leather shop; Bobby Santa Cruz was playing music at the Sea Shanty; and the music of the horse’s hooves pulling the carriage/wagon of people was unique and magical.

We haven’t gone the past several years to this event for various reasons and I’m so glad we did tonight. This on our list for next year.
