Recycling Saris

We had our first Christmas present opening whilst J’s sister was here on Sunday. In the stocking she had brought with her was this - a little picture frame (this is one corner). A friend of hers buys second-hand saris and uses the (many yards of) fabric as framing material. It’s very sparkly.

This afternoon we travelled to Manchester City centre for our hair cuts (a little more than that for J). After mine had been done and whilst J was being attended to I had a wander around some of the surrounding area. I am constantly fascinated by how Manchester continues to evolve, and snapped away with my phone camera. I’m pleased with quite a few of the shots. The extra is chosen because Santa is in there somewhere, so it’s got a seasonal vibe. There were a lot of German voices to be heard as I passed people by - Man U are at home to Bayern Munich this evening. It’s not going well for Man U as I post this blip.
