A new dog walk

After a fleeting visit to the east side of the country we headed westward in the direction of home once again. Unfortunately, our favourite stop for a dog walk was closed for some kind of work in the parking area but just a little further on we stopped at the head of Loch Awe and walked to the ruined Kilchurn Castle in the sunshine, amidst beautiful views (main and extra). Unusually, the air was much clearer here in the west than it had been in the east.
It was good to meet up with friends on the ferry and have a chat, making the sail across to Mull pass quickly.
