Golden Hour on the Cotswold Escarpment
Not the image I was preparing to go with, after a nice if muddy walk with the delightful Janet, but it caught my eye as we approached the final stretch - or hobble, in my case; my knee decided halfway round that the loft insulation still had a bit of pain left to offer. ;-)
The Sun is sinking below the horizon behind me - not that he had risen very high all day anyway - and lit the escarpment in a gorgeous orange light that reminded me of Uluru in Australia (not that I've ever seen it for real).
Anyone planning to visit Torquay next year? Didn't think so. It bewilders me, when I'm doing what I can to save the trees in our village and promote street trees in new developments. It was Plymouth earlier in the year. We undervalue our green environment at our cost.
