A day of two halves

I slept badly, probably because I was so cold from the train journey and over tired. We took Amber into kennels for her hols, she was delighted and so excited. Home for a warming bowl of porridge and a return to bed. I was feeling a bit rubbish so B just left me to sleep. 

There were plans for the evening, our Christmas present from R & S. It was to be a surprise. Feeling as I did in the morning and not knowing where we were going I wasn’t very enthusiastic. 

Well it was a super evening …. a trip to Manchester to the Palace Theatre to see Hamilton. It was a full house of mainly younger people. An awesome performance. The music was rap, that’s why the youngsters were there, explanation from a young lady next to me in the queue for the loo!! 

It took about 2 hrs to get there, but one and a half to get home. I was so pleased that I’d spent the morning in bed to be wide awake and bouncing in the evening. 

It’s a long time since I’ve been to Manchester and look forward to going back.
