............ on the front of the box of a very generous gift to hubby from his boss - nice to know when you’re appreciated ;-)

I made some double choc chip cookies ( Nigella’s recipe with buckwheat flour ) .......... they taste much better than they look, lol ( see extra). I didn’t get the butter soft enough before I started to cream it with the sugar ........ I just turned the mixer on and redecorated the kitchen with splats of butter/sugar mix, oooops - it took me longer to clean up the kitchen afterwards than it did to make them, doh :-/
My daughter requested them for when we visit on Boxing Day, so they’re now safely tucked away in the freezer before hubby spots them and there’s none left ;-))
