birds up!

I had a lazy start to the day today. I didn't mean to, it was just the way things worked out. Lots of things I'd been intending to do suddenly didn't need doing so instead of doing some thing else I had another cup of coffee and watched the various tits visiting the bird feeders.
I went over to walk the dog just before lunch then had the joy of a hot stones massage. Very relaxing. I didn't feel like doing much else after that.
Life dictated otherwise though, I went to meet Ali at school and my car boot is now full of boxes of things she wanted to take home. We'll transfer them to their attic in a couple of days.
Back home again in time for tea but as we were both busy this evening we went to our kitchen next door! Sometimes it's very handy living next door to a restaurant if a trifle more expensive. I had a very enjoyable chicken biryani.
I went back to Ali's this evening. She had a late hairdo, it's hard as a teacher to have anything else bit fortunately her hairdresser works Thursday evening. I was baby sitting while her husband went to visit some relatives newly arrived from South Africa.
She got back about 9. 30 by which time I was ready to go straight into the car and head home. A quick chat with Colin then it was time for bed. A quiet day tomorrow, hopefully!
