Blue mist.

Went to Palaokasterista today, its one of the more familiar places to us tourists its featured in most package magazines. However the place is lovely, although it is actually a series of coves rather than one big bay.
We set off this morning in Juddering Judy the Fiat Punto. The heat is quite scorchio at 30+ degrees and the humidity is such that my hair constantly looks a bugger even after I have tried to singe it into submission with the straighteners!
The roads are full of pot holes and the Highway code is none existent, nobody knows who has the right of way... all we know is dont stop in the road or these friendly folk turn into lunatics on their car horns...also the word Malaka is yelled at you which we have discovered is means wanker!!! We had a nice day once we found the place. Highly recommended village and loads of lovely places to stay. My advice is to find your own way and forget the package holiday...you'll only end up spending a week or two with pissed up Brits if you do.
