Tree work!
Thursday
It was a noisy morning at our house this morning, as our neighbours were having tree work done - and they have quite a number of trees. They had at least four men working most of the morning and into the afternoon! We’re especially pleased about one of them, which partially overhung our yard, and in the Fall we’d get a lot of their leaves - so maybe next year there’ll be a few less leaves to rake! In addition to that, Roger was shredding old documents in the basement, creating more noise!
It was another cold frosty start, leading into a cool clear blue sky day. I was busy this morning, but we got out this afternoon for our dose of Vitamin D, walking at Voice of America Park, where quite a number of people were out enjoying the sunny weather.
This evening was handbells and choir, practicing music for Christmas. In Choir, Michael sprung a new piece on us which we will be singing Christmas Eve evening with orchestra and brass. I think he’s being rather optimistic, especially since we will be down a few people who will be away for Christmas. On the other hand Michael sometimes brings along several members of his very musical family!
