The very hungry caterpillar...

...has been caught red handed! No little helper today as he has been diagnosed with tonsillitis (where he got the tummy ache from I don't know!) so in his absence I went on the bug hunt again today and caught this lovely specimen -ON MY ROSES! Sometimes they don't grow up to be beautiful butterflies but we'll keep quiet about that one!
