Christmas reads.

We went to Sainsburys this morning, just for a few things. I bought a poinsettia, hoping that it will last for Christmas, and J bought a few beers (maybe more than a few:-) We went into the restaurant for coffee, and I asked for a toasted panettone. The assistant said they didn't have any, as they were stuck in Italy (you couldn't make it up) I saw three books I wanted , so we called in the library on our way home and I ordered them. J has gone up to his biker friend, to do some jobs on his motorbike, so I am doing a few odd jobs.
