Little musical elf

I kept the jedi at home today as the bigger wildlings had there Christingle and Carol service at school in the afternoon.  And the logistics of going back and forward all day to different settings wouldn't have worked. 

His wee elf top has bels all around the neck and the buttons jingle too. He had a fun morning singing with his uke . I gutted through the wildlings toys and have bagged up a few to give away. 

Mr R and nana and grandad got involved with helping to make a christingle orange thing at school with Harp and Lincoln.  And then it was the Carol service.  It's a very small school  ( I think 28 children) and it was a great afternoon.  All the children were fantastic and you can see just the huge amount of work that their teachers have invested . 

For those asking yesterday,  my infection was before my operation.  That's why I needed the 27 year old screws out. My foot has been less sore today which is a huge bonus. I'm more mobile and down to one crutch. So that's a big bonus. I get my dressing changed and the stitches out next Thursday.  It's stinking already.  Thankfully I managed to get a big outdoor hillwalking sock over the bandage today. 

I'm going to have dinner with the wildlings tonight.  Mr R has his Christmas night out. Its in the same place my work are going.  I won't be though.  I will be relaxing , watching crap tv and enjoying the peace.
