Tired of mud

Our regular dog walk route is very, very muddy. I was short on time today, so couldn't drive to an alternative footpath. The mud makes is prwttybhard work walking! Looking forward to the summer when you can just walk out of the house and up the path in flip flops. 

The boys are intrigued by the shortest day next week. The youngest is convinced this also means that winter is shorter than summer, so the days are shorter. I see his logic! 

Everyone tired, but also very much feeling that the end is in sight and so energy levels are OK.
