Exciting find

Exciting for me that is:)
I’ve been rather envious of the fungi blips of others, as I hardly ever see them in the places I walk.
Then I saw this, in my own garden! On a dead branch of the apple tree where I hang the bird feeders. Quite difficult to get to - at the back of the tree. My phone says it is Trametes Versicolor.
In other news, I went to John Lewis to order thermal blinds for my kitchen windows. This is also exciting, for me:)
And in the evening was my Orkney/Bristol film club. We watched ’Nyad’ on Netflix, which was superb. About 2 wonderful women in their 60s trying and trying to achieve something almost impossibly difficult. Annette Bening and Jodie Foster are superb. And Rhys Ifans is not bad either. Recommend.
