Flood defences.

After the deluge here in 2007 when the rain surged off the Cotswold Hills into the Severn valley with Gloucester and Tewksbury suffering serious flooding. Since then the village waterways have been given a massive upgrade. I notice that many new channels have sharp left or right turns to impede the water flow. So far, at the risk of tempting providence, they have withstood all storms to date. NB the 2007 storm was actually a midsummer event.
