Dervaig Does Christmas

The annual village get together, a fun afternoon full of atmosphere and good spirit, including an egg nog which was out of this world. The table next to us sold meat and pies, it all looked very good, alongside this stood a bowl of egg nog on offer to all. A vibrant hall full of Christmas Cheer or was it eggnog……

We had a CP table selling raffle tickets and a tombola, great fun, we all felt happy with the afternoon, it was worth all the effort.

Afterwards (4.00) 6 of us met at friends across the field for mince pies and sherry. ohhhh. We arrived to find a spread laid out with wine, excellent. A wonderful few hours of eating and chat covering a range of topics, most stimulating.

A good day although pleased it was my last raffle of the year.
