Cookie Day

Or biscuits for those in the UK. Baked three kinds of cookies and a pie today plus made a pot of vegetable soup and a pan of cornbread to eat with it.

I don’t know why I decided to spend all day in the kitchen but probably because it was pouring rain continuously. Inches of rain with flooding in some places. High tide and all the rain had the ocean at the coast moving over the seawall at Charleston and other low lying areas. We are just soggy wet here.
