The bus depot
The morning was spent in the loft of the old house collecting more items to take back to France. I then received a call saying that granddaughter had left her secret Santa presents on the school bus and could I go to the depot to collect them? So a 26 mile round trip ensued and I was able to recover the items. The lady in the office had asked for very precise descriptions of the presents so I had to phone up my daughter-in-law. Apparently the accurate descriptions were necessary because they have so many things left on the buses, mostly on school runs! It has been very dull and grey today with plenty of mud on the roads, a reminder of one of the reasons why I left Lincolnshire for prettier and sunnier climes!
