Behind the door

This is Bertie’s advent calendar but he is way behind in opening the doors so he will be enjoying the treats well after Christmas Day is past.
Nick and I had a treat late in the afternoon when we were invited by friends P and A for sherry and mince pies, along with another couple of friends. It turned out that mulled wine and lots of tasty savoury treats were offered. So much that we didn’t need a meal when we came home.
