Dusk

Yet another cloudy day with rain compounding the gloom. We really have seen very little blue sky here this month. However, unlike last year we have escaped the severe pre Christmas snow and ice. That unwelcome chill took out some of our established garden shrubs including the clematis Montana that had been here since the house was built and provided a lovely screen on our eastern boundary.

We bought some seasonal supplies this morning. The super market was not too busy, luckily.

As we walked to school to collect the boys the cloud cleared. The temperature dropped. The western sky was looking sleigh ready and the chimney stack was perfectly positioned for any special deliveries that might be made early on Monday morning!
