Christmas Shopping.

A better day than yesterday thank goodness. I filled up with petrol and went to Muircot to meet Linda and Margaret,  Arrived over five minutes late having been trapped behind a horse box for miles and found Linda sitting at a table by herself. No Margaret.  We had a coffee and chatted for a while then eventually phoned Margaret to find she was at home and was convinced it was Tuesday,  It took some time to make her believe it wasn't.  Lots of laughter ensued and exchanges of Christmas good wishes then Linda and I ordered lunch and chatted away for ages. We sampled Muircot's mince pies for afters which were really good,  Linda and her husband are off to London tomorrow to spend Christmas with their two sons and their families but will be back home for New Year.  We exchanged presents although part of my presents to Linda and Margaret is stuck at the Ukraine border but hopefully will be here by the time we meet again.,
