Birthday No 42

Weirdly didn’t get to sleep until 12:50 so slept on till 8:30 so it was a slow morning. Packed some stuff for charity shops. More cosy cardigans of Mums going to charity shop. I don’t think she ever threw any away, some hardly worn. There are many, but less now. Still to take the shirts but they are in our attic…..

We walked down to the charity shop stopping in a Cafe for soup. It was excellent! A place called the Rose House which has moved across the street into bigger premises after 7 years in a smaller shop. Audrey the owner is also a florist so she has lots of lovely decor showcasing her skills. Two place of homemade soup and crusty bread for £9 isn’t bad I would say. Extra is the tree in the foyer part next to this glorious staircase.

Walked home, had tea and then picked up Cameron from Broxden park and ride where the bus from Edinburgh arrives. He came home for his mum’s birthday after completing his Physics exam in the morning. Down to the Gang’s house with Laura’s presents and a Colin cake .

Must be the worst pic I’ve taken of her birthday!

We had a lot of chat and left around 9:30.
