BOTTOMS UP

Either the fishing was exceptionally good on the Boardman River or these geese were practicing their synchronized swimming routine. We decided to stop by a park on the Boardman River in Traverse City, MI with hopes of finding something unusual for today's blip. Only the usual geese and ducks were available, but this quartet decided to put on a show while we were there. It was a regular 'Tip Up Town'!

We also spotted a robin and were only trying out some camera settings on him - not really hoping for blip material, but in downloading the pictures we came across this fun photo of the robin. Check out the 'Strutting Robin' on Flickr.
