When Teme Goes By

This morning I washed the Jag, it was filthy from the sprayshop and hasn't been out of the garage for two  months. It now looks delicious, ready for a Jaguar Owners drive out on Saturday, weather permitting.

This afternoon we had a division of labour. One of us went shopping. One of us took Hollie dog over Whitecliffe Common and out to Ludford Weir.

Guess who did which...

The blip is a view of the lovely River Teme sliding gracefully over the huge weir at Ludford on it's journey out to meet the River Severn, south of Worcester. The whole of the River Teme was designated a Site Of Special Scientific Interest in 1996 by English Nature. The river is 81 miles long and is the sixteenth longest river in the UK.

I had arranged to meet a Dutch girl by the weir, she was known for wearing inflatable shoes. But she never turned up, and I found out later she had popped her clogs...

And then, to add insult to injury, a man attacked me with a bottle of milk, a pound of butter and a tub of cream!

How dairy !

Friday 22nd December tomorrow. The shortest day.

Happy Winter Solstice everyone!
