Late afternoon light

I’m surprised at how well the light has been captured by this late afternoon shot. It was gone 4.00pm, sun had set yet the light along the footpath and in the sky was almost luminescent.

Barbara and David began the long trip back to Edinburgh this afternoon after their short visit this week. They’re stopping off overnight in the Lincoln area to break the journey.

I went for a run and had lunch ready. Everyone else went to see Doreen, who was quite bright. While they were there they spoke to the health care visitor from the Hospice who was completing the first stage of an assessment for continuing care plan for Doreen.

And that’s that, apart from Uketok this evening which was great fun, a mixture of Christmas songs and popular favourite.
