Goat's Last Adventure (with us).

Were standing on the quayside at Dover waiting to head to France (and then Italy) and it suddenly occurs that this is the last trip out we'll make with Goat.

We've had this van since it was new - didn't even have 1 mile on the clock (3/10th iirc). Metallic paint, air conditioning, parking sensors, side doors, cruise control. One tricked up van ;)

But with living so far away, and the 25 year rule for exporting vehicles, Goat has another 18 years before it could join us. And it's sitting around for 9 months of the year which does it no favours at all - and that's if I do FotoStelvio in future years.

So I made the decision a few weeks ago that this is it's last outing and then it gets sold in September.

(Having said that, it could well be bought back in a few years if I can sell it to someone I can keep in contact with.....)
