Bromeliad

Still a fairly mild day. Wandered along the street this morning to look for a blip and resorted to the plants in Little Dobbies. So it’s a bromeliad for Flower Friday.

The food shops were getting busy, with queues forming outside the butcher’s and the cheesemonger. (Extra). I dare say it could be worse tomorrow. 

Today is the anniversary of my parents’ wedding, 73 years ago! That was a Friday too, and apparently they went to Glasgow for their honeymoon and returned to their home on the Monday to start their new life on the farm together. Christmas Day was not considered a holiday in Scotland in those days.
