Remembering.
Remembering Chris, my best friends only son today. It's 10 years today since at the age of 31 he lost his battle with melanoma, leaving a wife and 10 year old twin girls. He was a larger than life character and completed tours in Afghanistan, not the best country for a redhead to serve. After he died the Army named a medical centre after him. Quite the accolade.
The card alongside his picture was sent by Jodie. My girls regard her as a second Mum, and she regards my girls as her daughters which is lovely. We've been friends for over 50 years, and all because of our dogs.
We have no skip, or builders material on our. drive for the first time in over a year. Yay! Had a bit of a clean up on the drive today. Extra. Nothing too special as it will get messed again when the turf gets laid, and there is still work to be done, but for now it's moderately clear.
