Our Internet returned this morning! YaY! • I got MrsP up early to go out for breakfast. It was a chilly 14F and all we could think about were the many unfortunate people still without power from Monday’s storm • After a yummy breakfast we spent time browsing books in our favorite bookstore, then chatted over cups of hot chocolate • A delightful morning • The AV Club’s next holiday film in its top 25 countdown is A Christmas Story, 1983; an American Christmas comedy directed by Bob Clark, based on Jean Shepherd’s 1966 book, In God We Trust: All Others Pay Cash, a collection of short stories, and his 1971 book, Wanda Hickey’s Night Of Golden Memories And Other Disasters; starring Melinda Dillon, Darren McGavin, Peter Billingsley; Filmed in parts of Ontario and Toronto, Canada, and Cleveland, Ohio • While placing apples and seeds out for the dear deer I couldn’t help but notice this afternoon’s beautiful winter solstice moon • Good Night From Maine!
