Wide open spaces

& firebreaks. All the work has been completed on CK heath.
I dropped a box of mince pies off to the staff in our local chemist this morning. They always seem to be working flat out so a little treat with their cuppa today as a thank you.
Walked Indie, a dry day with strong winds. Mum & I drove to BT, I dropped a Xmas card & some books off to Angie, then popped into George & Jean with their Xmas card & pressie, then Mum  & I stopped at the House of Marbles to pick up a pressie for Jasper, the little chap who lives across the road from us. We were lucky enough to get a table for coffee as we were only going to be 30minutes. All tables booked otherwise. Very busy with lots of families. Back at Mum's, we put the tender geraniums & Jacobinia in the garage. I cut back a few tatty bits in the back garden as well.
Back indoors, I looked out the kitchen window, there on the fatball feeder hanging from the new birdtable were 7 long-tailed tits. Mum was thrilled. The tv needed retuning. Will have to adjust the tv handset somehow.
Back home, lunch, then I decorated the willow wreath with some foliage & bow. Prepared the lambs heart casserole, got that in the oven before taxi-ing hubby to the pub. Watched The Chase while hangin some baubles on the Xmas twiggy bits, but where is the set of lights. Mystery?? Hey ho!! Time to pick hubby up from the pub before completing dinner.
