Here's one I made
There were some very long strands of ivy dangling above the board crossing the ditch, & I just happened to be carrying my secateurs, so snipped them to clear the crossing. With a couple of twists, then secured with willow I had myself a Xmas wreath. I snipped a few stems of berried ivy nearer to home to add later.
Mum & I had a lovely video chat with Nina, my Thai friend who is now living in Bangkok. We had shared some good times when she lived in Nai Phlao but sadly had to return home to her family after having a serious stroke. She was also a very generous host when Mum was visiting. We spent time together making art on many occasions. She looked well, & Mum remembered her which was great. It was so good to chat.
We drove out to BT, dropped birthday cards at Eliza's house for when the family returned then dropped off a bouquet of white flowers (she's very fussy about colours but should be safe with white ), & Lindt wafers to GinJan who has been poorly for the past week.
Mum came back to Chudleigh for a Sunday roast. While that was cooking we watched Strictly 20 years anniversary programme on iPlayer. I looked out the patio window and there was a gorgeous male Bullfinch eating the Leycesteria berries. A real treat for me, the Bullfinch, & Mum once she spotted it. The first time I've spotted one in the garden.
