Another quiet day

The wind finally died down this afternoon. It is still cold so the ice has yet to melt. Streets and parking lots are fine, they have been well salted. I did get out for a drive this morning but the trails were still too icy for walking.

Both squirrels were around most of the day. It was fun to watch them chasing each other around. One squirrel is a bit aggressive around the birds. He would run towards the pine warbler, the warbler would fly over to the tree for a few minutes, then come back to continue eating.

I am not sure if there are 2 warblers. At one point I looked out and I thought there were 2 warblers with several goldfinches. If there is a second one it is very shy and doesn't come to the deck as often as the other one.

I started another jigsaw puzzle today and worked on my cross stitch project.

It is supposed to start warming up tomorrow and by Sunday the temperature will be above freezing again.
