Home for Christmas

Our youngest caught the fast train to Evesham from Paddington this afternoon before it closed for four days from tomorrow. Lovely to have the Christmas guests beginning to arrive for our extended celebrations! We enjoyed another mild day with sunny intervals here.

T’s ancient sewing machine was pressed into service for some last minute decorations. It seems to be working again.

Bird song accompanied my walk into the village this morning and everyone I met greeted me cheerily. Tis the season … !
