Christmas Eve at the farm shop

I was at our local farm shop at 0730 to collect our Christmas order. It was still dark. The birds were singing. It was incredibly mild. In England Sunday trading laws meant that supermarkets opened after 1000 and had to close at 1600. Not that we went today as we were busy prepping for our Christmas Eve guests. We had a lovely gathering. So different from last year when Covid was an uninvited party cancelling guest!
