Memories .....

Pebbles the doll is the only childhood toy I have left. I can remember my dad buying her for me. I think it was my 5th birthday (which makes Pebbles about 50) and we lived in london. I can remember choosing her and insisting that I carry her home. We didnt have a car in those days and I seem to recall it was a very long trek home (well in my memory as a 5 year old).

I am proud to be a Londoner (now living in Cornwall!) but sad that the world has changed so very much and the places that were crime free and safe all those years ago are so different today ....
