Holiday count down: 3 days

Today has been a much better day for the boys.

I went to work at 7 and left at 11.30 am. I had a chiropractor appointment at noon and when I was done, we went to the lake so the dogs could cool down. It has been so very hot today.

Work was back to normal today, after yesterday's drama. Phew!
Both my boss and the staff has been very appreciative of my effort yesterday. My boss rang me and told me well done and one of the staff came and said I had really won the staff's respect by staying all day and handling everything. It is nice to be appreciated.

I have been very busy since I came home:
- washed clothes.
- started packing for my holiday.
- went to the shops for a bit of shopping.
- cleaned the guinea pigs cage whilst they were outside in their pen.
- cut grass.
- swept the floors as Hero knocked over a big barrel of guinea pig food.
- put new lemons on Biscuit's lemon tree - he is performing to Fool's Garden's 'Lemon Tree' this year and his prop is a lemon tree, but most of the lemons had fallen off.

Today's picture is from the chiropractic clinic. They had workmen in to renovate and this bench was standing in the waiting room. I thought it would be a good picture to illustrate something that happened today, but it was a bit boring, so I have spiced it up with a few other pictures from my day: the boys enjoying a cool swim, Hero practising his herding skills on the lawn mower and Biscuit, who tried to pack himself into my suitcase. He doesn't have to worry though - of course he is going on holiday too :)
