A Start for the Day……

…….. Christmas Day. What is nicer for Maisie and me than an early start and walk. It is so special to get out in fresh, cool air, into the country and amongst trees along the river. Never mind that the river is dry…. It is still running under the shingle.
This afternoon I spent time and a lovely Christmas dinner with friends, Ange, Lloyd, their boys, family members and friends. A memorable time. Ange played my favourite Christmas song, Marlon Williams singing “Oh Holy Night” in te reo.. A beautiful song. Thank you all for such friendship and fun.
