Red, white and green.....

We allowed ourselves a later breakfast this morning after the long day yesterday. We took the train into the centre again and began with a cup of tea in the 5* Carlton Hotel - very English, very posh!

Still so much to see in this amazing city that I will just have to return! We decided not to squash too much into the time left, so had a nice gentle pootly day. Tried to find a piazza to eat lunch that we had seen earlier in the day...but could we find it! Map nor nose any help!! Very happy with the one we eventually decided upon and I had my favourite starter..it IS Italian after all. And here it is.

Took the bus back to the airport. Queued too long in the EasyJet booking terminal, good flight but it took ages for my ears to un-pop this time, and met by a car to take us home. Cup of tea before bed.

A good holiday. My sister is great company and laughter is the best medicine, should I have needed any.
