Happy Christmas!

Our two good friends Blipper Rainette and her lovely Geoff came to Christmas dinner today, We had such a good time.
The little blue and white screw topped bottle contains homemade Walnut wine from Grenoble,
Thierry brought it round when he came the other afternoon.
His sister Pierette has made it, He brought it back with him from France the last time he was visiting his mum.
Our two friends had a small sample, and pronounced it very good, and more like a liqueur,
It is very sweet and probably quite strong, so no more was partaken with Geoff driving.
It has been incredibly mild today, in fact the Met Office said it could break all records for Christmas Day,
Now Stephen and I have just opened some more gifts, from Blipper Hanna, and from Heidi, (back from the States and having her first UK Christmas for the past 12 years) who is currently staying with her Aunt and Uncle up in Chorley whilst the home she is buying is sorted and the furniture which has been crossing the Pond eventually arrives.
Tomorrow we are seeing the family and giving them their Christmas presents.
