Merry Xmas Everybody

Not our lights, but those of our next door neighbours. They always dress up the house for Christmas but, this year, they seem to have gone that extra mile, probably because their daughter, son-in-law and granddaughter are visiting from Australia. As such, the lights have been in place since the end of September though, to be fair, they’ve only been switched on every night since the middle of November!
It has become a bit of a tradition in our house to go to the gym on Christmas morning, and this year was no exception, though we had to go twice as a lot of other people had obviously had the same idea. It was quite crowded when we first turned up, so we had to leave a couple of exercises until our return visit an hour later.
We’re not ones for a massive meal at lunchtime, so we’re having our turkey dinner this evening. Everything is prepped and ready to go, with all timings carefully worked out. Just so long as we don’t leave anything in the oven/microwave like we did last year - we didn’t discover the sprouts until Boxing Day!
An evening in front of the telly now and a day of rest tomorrow, before the Boxing Night gig in Barrow.
