Winding Down
A bottle of gin with a light in it, the perfect end to the day. With Mrs S in charge of the pouring, Mrs S, Sam and I sat and demolished a bottle of Sloe Gin, (one tot saved for Lucy), and pretty much the entire contents of this bottle.
I felt very relaxed as my made my way up the wooden hill to bedfordshire!
The lead up to the evening had been pretty relaxed as well, back to pick up the missing piece of our food order which the store gave us free as an apology for two trips, fresh bread and a single serving Christmas Pudding. No pudding but we are good to go.
I don’t ever remember being this ready, this early.
Confirmation from the recipients that the Christmas Hampers we sent out as gifts have arrived are coming in so all is well.
Pushing to finish my novel so as to get to sixty-five books for 2023, my target was 52, one a week.
