The Farm

Best present of the day, well two really, the bikes and the farm for Hendrix. Extra of the girls on the bikes, despite the rain this afternoon.
Hendrix has a real love of playing with things that capture his imagination, anything like playmobil, lego, cars (not so much nowadays). Marlane bought this farm, a very good make, Binbak, very expensive when new, and it is solid. Marlane spent time painting the roofs, but not losing the age patina of it as it made it look very authentic, bought tiny flowers to go around the farmhouse, painted the 'concrete' farm surface and lots more. He was absolutely thrilled with it and spent hours arranging the animals, moving them around, and continued when he got home. I had photos of him but this one, taken by his Mum, Joanne, shows him at home after his bath. 
Lovely to see the children so happy and have had such a fantastic couple of days.
